Because the chemical peel acts as an exfoliant already, double exfoliating could cause further damage to your skin.
Sun Exposure
Although you will use sunscreen while in recovery, avoid spending too much time outdoors. If you have to spend a prolonged period of time out in the sun, try to wear a hat, take an umbrella, or stay in a shaded area to avoid exposing your peeling skin to further sun damage and additional scarring.
Picking At Your Skin
As the outermost layer begins to peel off, you may have the urge to pick at or tear off the layer yourself. This is an absolute no!
